There\u2019s wine available, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, while the adults may be a little more interested in the beers and dancing, there\u2019s plenty of fun for the whole family to be had.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send the kids out to play lawn games \u2014 including corn hole, giant Jenga, and lawn pong \u2014 or carve pumpkins, while you kick up your heels and down some steins!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll find plenty of free parking nearby. You can even snap a selfie against the Victorian Christmas backdrop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Worth knowing that there\u2019s no food or beverages available during the event, and the last entry is at 6 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Naperville Trolley Holiday Lights Tour<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Where:<\/strong> Pickup locations vary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When:<\/strong> December<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cost: <\/strong>$25 per person<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve been on the Halloween Lights Tour with <a href=\"https:\/\/napervilletrolley.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Naperville Trolley<\/a> then it\u2019s much the same, only <em>Christmas<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose from the Northern Tour (Christmas lights north of 75th St.), the Southern Tour (Christmas lights south of 75th St.), or the Eastern Tour (new for 2023). Every year is different as the tour entirely depends on the homeowners\u2019 decoration decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tours are available as either private charters or public tours, and bookings are available from May\/August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the trolleys are heated, you should still dress warm, and bear in mind that you can\u2019t bring any food, but can bring (lidded) drinks. A further donation in 2021 added 40 acres of land. To date, Knoch Knolls Park consists of roughly 258 acres of land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.napervilleparks.org\/knochknollsnaturecenter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Knoch Knolls Nature Center<\/a> is an ideal place to visit with the kids. An aquatic park and historic ex-quarry, it\u2019s located in downtown Naperville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consisting of 6 acres of land and an abandoned quarry filled with 6.2 million gallons of water, Centennial Beach is a popular spot in the summer, with visitors coming from all over Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While you can pay a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.napervilleparks.org\/dailyadmission\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">daily admission fee<\/a> for entry, Naperville residents and those in the know opt for an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.napervilleparks.org\/beachmemberships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">annual membership<\/a> that allows them entry throughout the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shallow end of the pool only reaches a depth of 4 ft., and leads to a sandy beach, making it the perfect spot for kids to relax and play. There are even special water features for added fun, a slide, and an ADA lift for accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the deep end of the pool reaches a whopping depth of 15 ft. and contains three diving boards. But more than that, Naper Settlement is Naperville\u2019s 13-acre family-friendly outdoor museum of history. A great option for <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.naperville.org\/activities-for-seniors\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"173\">seniors<\/a> visiting the Naperville area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Begun in 1969, Naper Settlement is run by the Naperville Heritage Society. In addition to hosting events, weddings, school visits, and more, Naper Settlement also has a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.napersettlement.org\/83\/Exhibits-at-Naper-Settlement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exhibits<\/a> available. It was gifted to Naperville for the Millennium and has <em>253 steps<\/em> leading to the top.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Not a walk for the faint-hearted!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 2021, the tower has been closed for refurbishments, thanks to potential structural issues discovered in 2017. However, when open, you can visit the Visitor Center directly opposite Moser Tower and purchase tickets to tour all 158 ft. of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When operational, the Carillon plays at 12 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm daily, and is rung by a computer system.
